PLEASE ANSWER Jun 1, 2001 Need to know- I was given partial dose of hepatitis B years ago and I had a risky exposure for which all antibodies for hiv have been negative. I was given a blood test for Hepatitis C and it came back negative. To be sure and for peace of mind, is there a screen to determine one's status of possible infection for hepatitus for B and A? |

 The simple answer is yes. You can have your antibody level to both hep A and B checked and if you are negative for antibodies then you should have vaccines for both! They are combined now into 1 shot! Get tested and Vacccinated! DTD | ||||||||
