Three weeks ago I completed a 12 week combo treatment for HEP C of Olsyio, Sovaldi and Riboviron. 3 weeks after finishing the 12 week treatment the drugs, I remain HEP C undetectable after having been positive since 1994 and unsuccessfully completing 3 Hep C treatment, all of which included interferon, and all of which were unsuccessful and all of which had devastating side effects. As of yesterday, all me liver enzymes had returned to non elevated levels for the first time in 12 years. How long must i test negative before I can say for sure that I am no longer infected?

Response from Dr. Taylor

If you are hep C virus negative 12 weeks after completing this treatment, you are considered cured.
