Does this result mean i have Hep B?
Feb 13, 2014

Hepatitis B Surface Antibody 157.0 Effective December 30, 2011 Reference range change: HBsAb Quantitative result interpretations: >=12.0 mIU/mL: Reactive: indicates the antibodies to HBsAg are present and detected. This usually indicates protection against infection. Indeterminate: Low levels of antibody detected. The immune status of the individual should be further assessed by associated risk factors. Another specimen may be collected and retested. <8.0 mIU/mL: Non reactive: antibodies to HBsAg are not detected in the sample or are below the protective level for immunity.

Response from Dr. Taylor
