hep B transmission
Sep 8, 2013

i had an oral sex with an unknown person ,,he did not cum on my mouth or any fluid in my mouth ,,,will i be infected with hep b virus ,if he had ?

Response from Dr. Taylor

Hepatitis B is highly contagious via any/all types of sex. Yes you are at risk, although there are higher risks than the 1-time sex as you describe. I suggest getting tested, and if you are NOT infected with hepatitis B, getting vaccinated against hepatitis B.

Also we can catch other infections via oral sex, such as gonorrhea and Chlamydia, so I would talk with your doctor about this and about getting swabbed/tested for other sexually transmitted infections.
