 Yes we are witnessing a revolution in hepatitis C treatment. It is anticipated that in a few years there will be pills that may be used without interferon injections, that can cure people of all genotypes, almost all the time, with only a few weeks of therapy. The challenge will be to ensure that people in need have access to diagnosis and these improved treatments, and that we prevent spread of existing infections. | ||||||||
