Hcv transmission through a scratch? Please respond Jul 31, 2012 I was accidentally scratched by a co-worker about 6 weeks ago that did cause my to bleed. I am pretty sure that they were not bleeding at the time, I have just been worried non-stop. Approximately 3 and a half weeks later I got a HCV qualitative RNA pcr by labcorp which came back negative. Please tell me should I get another test and was this exposure a risk? I would greatly appreciately your thoughts as soon as possible. Thank you |

 I wouldn't have recommended testing in the first place, so I would stop right there... Nothing to worry about. | ||||||||
