Jul 31, 2012 Dear Dr. Mcgovern during medical fitness test for job i was tested positive for hbsag than i doctor advise me hhb dna qualitative test by pcr method in which hbv dna was detected in my blood than doctor advised me hbv dna quantitative test by pcr method which showed that hbv dna is below detectable range als my hbeag test was negative while hbeab test was postive my alt is 54 one doctor told me that you are inactive career and does not need any treatment while other doctor advised me use pegasy vaccine for three month and make your hbv dna negative if you want to b fit for job . now i am very confused what to whether i should use pegay or not ? and any other advise you think better for me i am ver tesed plz help me in this regard i can only pray for you thanks |

With a virus level that is not detected, I would not be recommending treatment - only retesting in six months. | |||||||||
