Please answer question? This is my third or fourth time writing over the last year. Jun 15, 2012 Hi Dr. McGovern, I know you are very busy, but I really want to know what this test result means, no one can answer me it seems. Next to several nonreactive/negative test results on my friend's copy of her std tests there are exclamation marks (!) with a note at the bottom saying , "Note: An exclamation mark (!) indicates a result that was not dispersed into the flowsheet," .... HUH? What does that mean? Several of them also say something like, " The following Non-numeric results were dispersed in the flowsheet even though numberic results were expected?"....HUH? I am very frustrated that they make results so hard to read. It shouldn't be such a struggle to figure out what your test results say. Does that mean that even though the all results of the tests were negative that there is still something wrong with some of them? Thank you, Christy |

Response from Dr. McGovern
I am sorry but do not know what that would mean. Would need to discuss with the physician who ordered it. |
