| Hepatis b? dont understand Dec 20, 2011 My dr said i tested positive for some sort of Hepatitus B but he had the lab run more test and it came back in the conclusion that I do not have Hep B. So my final result was negative? I am very confused and concerned? I asked if I should take the test again bc I have a 1 yr old and im very nervous but he said NO he said I DO NOT have hep B? So why was there a false negative??? |

You actually have a false positive test likely... Hepatitis B surface antigen is sometimes reported as positive, before it is confirmed. I suspect that is what happened. | |||||||||
