| heb B results and 12 weeks pregnant Oct 5, 2011 hi doctor, my results came back as Hbsag positive, hbsag >1000.00, anti-hbc positive,antihbc-igM negative,Hbeag negative,anti-hbe positive , anti-hbs negative, anti-hbs <3.10 and then there is a measurement sign on the report which is miU/ml. what doe sit all mean? i m very healthy and only got tested because of pregnancy . i have shown no symtops at all. is theviral load high or low? thanks so much |

It appears that you may have chronic hepatitis B infection. However, the crucial test that needs to be done is an HBV DNA to see if you have circulating virus and liver function tests to see if the liver is irritated. Your baby will need immunization against hepatitis B at birth which should be very effective and protective. | |||||||||
