| Anti HCV reactive while patient was treated twice before for HCV. Sep 24, 2011 cut off value. 1.00 patient value 10.03. patient was diagnosed Active HCV in 2008 and was treated with INTER FERON and ribaviron for 6months. later after 1 Year, again virus got active and patient was treated with PEGA SYS and ribaviron for 1 year.(course completed in last sep) Now again, anti HCV test was taken and patient has the value mentioned above. Why this is re occurring and what to do now? |

the hepatitis C antibody test stays reactive, whether the treatment was succcessful or not. Treatment induced eradication of HCV infection is determined by checking the HCV RNA test. | |||||||||
