Jul 22, 2011

Is it possible for someone with hepatitis B virus resolving to Acute Hepatitis?Because all syptoms like dark urine, yellow eyes, yellow skin subsided before three months and i haven't done any hepatitis text yet because my doctor ask me to do it 6months period.I look more healthier than i use to,so i will to know please get back to me asap and God bless you for your good work may you never go empty handed

Response from Dr. McGovern

Most people with acute HBV infection clear it....Only about 5 to 8 percent go on to chronic infection. In fact, those who have a lot of symptoms (eg, turning yellow) are more likely to clear their infection.

You should do well.

Mild elevated ALT
