| Can my daughter have contracted hep c from swallowing mucous ? May 7, 2011 Hi, I am extremely anxious as I have just visited a friend who has hep c. My two young daughters were with me. When I first arrived I noticed some mucous on the end of her nostril but was too embarrassed to say anything. Immediately after she handed my girls some biscuits. When she came back from the other room I said she had a little bit of something on her nose but it was gone. I am worrying myself sick that the mucous (snot) has been transferred from her nose to the biscuits and into one of my girls mouths. Is this a possible route of infection or am I being over anxious ? Please reply as I really am in a state about this. Thank you. |
