|HCV type 1 - new medicine

My father is 56 years old. he has HCV 10 year ago. in that 10 year, he drink many many medicine: Chinese traditional medicine, Vietnamese traditional medicine, western medicine, certainly those medicine is very cheap. until 3 months ago, he begins treat by Pegylated Interferon alfa-2a+ Ribavirin, but after 3 months with treatment, it is unsuccess. Now, we are very worry about my father deseased. Can you give me a advice and therapeutic method. when does the new medicine produced?

In the United States, we expect two new medications will be reviewed by summer of 2011 so I am hopeful that we will have new medications soon. These are helpful even in some people with a history of no response to PEG/RBV.
