negative test after 17 months conclusive
Feb 4, 2011

Hi doctor, i had an affair with a guy in 2005 only lasted few months. We really had protected sexual contact at that time. Then we broke up. After a few months met another person who started loving me. He also tried to do sexual relations but not much. it was like an harassment. I broke up in May 2007 and later in 2008 i got married and living happily. in 2008 November i took HIV test which was negative . Is this test conclusive? I am pregnant now which makes me happy. But my past is haunting me. Please i need ur advice

Response from Dr. McGovern

Please refer your HIV questions to the HIV forum. However, I want you to know that you are all set...No further testing needed.
