|Fallen man's blood on my hands.
Oct 24, 2010
I helped a fallen man get out of a flower bed. It was very dark and rainy and a few minutes later I noticed my hands had both mud and (his) blood on them. I put my hands in the rain immediately and got most of the blood away. I live nearby and when home I washed my hands twice with hand soap and dish washing liquid. I noticed my left thumb had a very small bit of raised skin under which it was red. It was not bleeding and my left hand did not have too much of his blood anyway. Should I be tested for Hep C? And after washing twice could my hands still have Hep C virus on them? I have two small children so what precautions should I take? I have had vaccinations for Hep A and B. Prior to the conception of my second child I was negative for Hep C (Health Check).I live in Taiwan. Your answer would be most appreciated.

You do not need testing for this event.
The fallen man is lucky that you helped him...
