| HCV transmission question Aug 21, 2010 In one of your answers you say that for a transmission to occur we need two bleeding wounds to mix. What about if we have a not bleeding wound coming in contact with dried blood(more than a day dried). Is this a possible route for transmission? |

It would be extremely unlikely in my opinion. If you continue to be concerned, you can always get tested...The antibody test is much less expensive than testing for the virus itself. | |||||||||
