|HCV transmission question
Aug 21, 2010
In one of your answers you say that for a transmission to occur we need two bleeding wounds to mix. What about if we have a not bleeding wound coming in contact with dried blood(more than a day dried). Is this a possible route for transmission?

It would be extremely unlikely in my opinion.
If you continue to be concerned, you can always get tested...The antibody test is much less expensive than testing for the virus itself.
