| confuse with liver result Jul 22, 2010 hello Dr please explain this result for me sometimes a little bit confuse with it.i live in thailand maybe they are using another method of liver result and cholesterol not like other countrys mostly Americans.my question are ,does ALT SGTP of 50 means 500 0r 5000 and AST SGOT 21 means 210 0r 2100.anyway here are my results. glucose =96 cholesterol =187 .the high one is 240 HDL-cholesterol=34 known as good one .normal is 40-50 LDL-cholesterol=108 the high one is 240 Triglyceride=197. the high one is 240 creatinine =1 ALT -SGPT=50 a bit high, nomal is 40 AST-SGOT=21 Alkaline phosphatase=66 Platelet-=172 nomal 150-450 |

I don't see anything quite striking except for a slight elevation of one of your liver function tests. I would simply follow these blood tests up at your next visit. | |||||||||
