| Hep C from scratch Jun 23, 2010 Hello there! My college mate has Hepatitis C and she doesn't take any meds yet. About a month ago she was helping me to put some drawings in frames we were in a hurry so i scratched my fingers a few times with paper clips i didn't draw any blood but there was something transparent inside some scratches was it my lymph? But there was no blood at all even under pressure. So now I'm worried if my friend scratched herself too and there was some of her blood or lymph on these paper clips could i get infected from her this way? there were a few minutes passed between her and me touching paper clips so the blood or lymph would be probably dry but is this short time enough to kill the virus in it? thank you in advance! |

I would not recommend any testing for this. | |||||||
