 A cirrhotic can have normal liver function tests; however, other tests are usually abnormal (eg, low white cell count, low platelets). Hepatic encephalopathy occurs in patients with decompensated cirrhosis as an end-stage finding....These patients cannot communicate.... | ||||||||
