| hbsag reactive but after a year became non reactive Jun 20, 2010 good day..my sone was dianosed in hep b 3 years ago ,he had a flu and juandice taht time..the dr just advise hime to take multi vitamins with silymarin,after a year of taking the supplements he bacame non reactive..my question is,is the a possibility that the test was false results?my son had tested 4x znd all are non reactive.even in his med. clearance for working outside the country..thanks |

If your son truly had hepatitis B, SOME marker should still be positive (eg, core, or surface antibody). If these are not reactive, he probably did NOT have HBV infection in the first place. Most young children are vaccinated against hepatitis B in childhood.. | |||||||||
