| Hep C risk help please Mar 15, 2010 Hello Doctor, i have been worried lately and quite paranoid because i dont know if im at risk, and i would appreciate your help. I bought scissors from a pharmacy. Yet, the whole scissor batch they had were not exactly "sealed". Each scissor was separately tucked in an individual scissor pouch. When i came to take it out i noticed it was a little dusty. So, i didnt have some water on me to rinse it, instead i cleaned the scissors with a sterile alcohol wipe before using it . When i came to trim my hair, i cut my finger and it bled a little, i washed and cleaned the cut with antiseptic alcohol. it has now completely healed. I am immune from both hep A and hep B. Is this a risk exposure of Hep C? please help. thank you. |
