Hi Doc, discovered i had hep B 1 and half ago and not on med, surface antigen +ve, e antigen has changed from +ve to -ve at last appointment i.e Dec and jan,e antibody-has not changed -still positive, viral load was 6000 dec and 4750 jan, liver and kidney function is normal. My specialist suggested entercavir for rapid treatment for one year and bring viral load to undetectable.Confused,am i still infectious after e antigen change from +ve to -ve?,felt am making progress and should be only have entercavir for 6months.What do you suggest?

You appear to be making progress yes...You are infectious due to your detectable virus.
HOwever, the viral load is low and your doctor may be interested in starting therapy now which should certainly be successful with such low viremia.
