What does it mean if you are reactive to the Hep B SURF AB

Response from Dr. McGovern

It can mean one of two things: 1. you were infected in the past and you cleared the infection (your HBcore Ab will also be positive) 2. you were vaccinated in the past (your HBcore Ab will be nonreactive)
