Response from Dr. McGovern
I would ask your doctor to also check your HBV DNA to see if you are viremic. You may just be an inactive carrier, particularly since your liver function tests are normal. Your baby will be vaccinated at birth and with a series of injections after that will protect her or him from acquiring infection. No worries there. My best wishes for your pregnancy! Congrats. |
