My question is can I stopped medication on May 2011(3 yrs. of treatment). I'm have E antigen negative infection.

Response from Dr. McGovern
I would stay tuned to see what developments come in terms of our understanding of HBeAg negative infection by 2011. Right now, the recommendations are for at least 3 years, but I don't know what the recommendations may be a few years from now as we learn more.
Baraclude is usually easy to tolerate so I hope you are feeling well and I am very happy to hear about your viral suppression. That shows excellent adherence to your medications and you are doing great things for your liver.
