 For hepatitis B we use the word "viral suppression" rather than eradicate, because Hepatitis B cannot be "cured". HOwever, the infection can improve dramatically with treatment. Several drugs are available for treatment including entecavir, tenofovir, telbivudine, pegylated interferon, lamivudine, and adefovir. | ||||||||
