have i cleared hep c Sep 7, 2008 i tested posittive for hep c atibody..however my followup blood work (rna)came back less than 5. and no genoype was found? have i cleared naturally or does less than 5 mean it's still lerking in my blood? thanks in advance. |

 This sounds like good news. I would certainly repeat the HCV RNA result one more time to confirm, but it looks like you are in the lucky minority of patients who clear infection. If you didn't know what you risk was in the first place, perhaps you have a false positive HCV antibody. If this is the case, ask for further testing with RIBA to see if you are truly positive. | ||||||||
