It depends on what caused the yellow jaundice in the first place. Jaundice is the result of many different kinds of liver problems. One type is viral hepatitis, which can be due to Hepatitis A B or C. Hepatitis A is acquired through ingestion of the same contaminated food or water. Hepatitis B or C can be acquired through Injection drug use or through sex (this is a less common route for HCV than HBV). | |||||||||
