|Puzzled Over Hep B Results
Mar 17, 2008
More than 10 years ago, I was told by my doctor that I was an inactive Hep B carrier.
Last week, my test result came back and it reads:
Hep Bs Antigen: Non-Reactice Hep Bs Antibody: Non-Reactive Hep Be Antigen: Non-Reactive
Does it mean that I am no longer a Hep B carrier? Should I get immunized?
Your answer is much appreciated. Thank you.

This loss of surface antigen is really great. I would follow your surface antibody. If it becomes positive, then you will be golden!
