| Hep B profile Mar 11, 2008 Hi mam. thanks for your advices to us for precautions and treatment, which really helps a lot to lead a gud life... can you please interpret my result, and if any medicine wud help, cud u suggest that also.. HBSag +ve... HBe antigen -ve... Anti HBe antibodies +ve i.e. >30... HBV dna plasma test <70 copies/mL... AFP (Alpha Feto Protein) 4.02 IU/mL where reference values < 9.1 IU/mL non pregnant... LFTS normal... will it take long time to get the Hep B -ve... can i get vaccinated against hep A, even though i m havinh hep B ... Am i a career to it or is it serious infection.... hope to c a reply soon.. thanks in advance |

Although your surface antigen is positive, your DNA is not detectable (virus in your blood) and your liver function tests are normal. Appears that you have inactive disease and only need follow-up for now. | |||||||||
