if you have passive antibody pruduce by your body, would hepa b cure???
Response from Dr. McGovern
If a patient loses their surface antigen and their surface antibody becomes positive, then the patient no longer has hepatitis B infection. This is exactly what happens in most adults who become acutely infected. Over a six month period, the patient develops surface antibodies and cannot be infected with hepatitis B again since these are protective antibodies.
