re:HCV rapid test Feb 19, 2008 Dear Doctor, Thank you for your initial reply to my queries. But I believe you missed out my first query:- 1. How reliable is a rapid test for HCV at 10 months? 2. I know that these tests all look for antibodies to the infection, therefore if my body are able to produce surface antibodies due to my Hep B vaccination, I should not worry about my body's ability to produce antibodies to HIV and HCV if indeed infected correct? thank you doctor for your time and will post my results soon. |

 You are right - I did miss your point about your "rapid" HCV test. I am not aware of any "rapid" test for HCV - only for HIV. You may want to clarify this with your doctor. | ||||||||
