Dear Doctor, Thank you for your initial reply to my queries. But I believe you missed out my first query:- 1. How reliable is a rapid test for HCV at 10 months? 2. I know that these tests all look for antibodies to the infection, therefore if my body are able to produce surface antibodies due to my Hep B vaccination, I should not worry about my body's ability to produce antibodies to HIV and HCV if indeed infected correct? thank you doctor for your time and will post my results soon.

You are right - I did miss your point about your "rapid" HCV test. I am not aware of any "rapid" test for HCV - only for HIV.
You may want to clarify this with your doctor.
