can accupuncture and supliments help support interferon tx? Dec 1, 2007 I will begin tx for hep c, (genotype 1) on December 14th. My liver biopsy showed level 3 or advanced liver damage. I have always eaten natural home cooked meals but have not used suppliments. It has been suggested that I see a naturapathic doctor that specializes in treatment of people with hep c with the use of acupuncture and suppliments. Is there any evidence that this can be helpful?  I am not aware of any data on this, but I think acupuncture in general can be helpful to people with a variety of problems. I would not take supplements unless cleared by your doctor since some are problematic. | ||||||||
