Hepatitis and IVF Nov 12, 2007 My husband has HEP B & C. He will be requiring treatment for HEP C which will be a weekly injection and a daily pill. Will we still be able to go ahead with IVF during the Hepatitis C treatment. |

 No I would advise you to definitely hold off for six months after he completes therapy since ribavirin has associated teratogenicity. You need to wait for six additional months because ribavirin lasts a long time in the body. | ||||||||
