what is the best way to treat hep c, i have an infant at home and i am a single mother?
| Response from Dr. McGovern
First you need to find out if you need treatment in the first place. Secondly, standard of care is pegylated interferon combined with twice daily ribavirin. The therapy can be problematic for many, but not all patients. Third, you will need to find out how long your therapy may be expected to last. This can vary by genotype and viral load response on therapy.
