lab results of Hepatitis B
Sep 9, 2007
My results on my lab tests currently show i am hepatitis B surface antigen negative, Hepatitis BE Ag negative, and hepatitis BE Ab positive, with a Hepatitis B DNA quant of 35 is this a result indicated of an acute infection thats going away permanently?

The results don't quite fit together. If you have chronic infection your surface antigen should be reactive. If you have cleared the infection, your HBV DNA level should be undetectable. I would get follow up testing to see how the panel looks then. Recent infection would be indicated by an IgM core antibody, which was not done.
