| pls help Aug 19, 2007 good day dra, i'm a hepa b carrier (according to my dr, Chronic hepa b)... im taking lamivudine... my concern is i'm a nursing student and we have a duty in hospital twice a week can i take ascorbic acid (vit.c) also? and my husband is negative for hbv, we're still active in coitus without any protection.. he's not afraid!!!! tell us what to do... your column is sooo goood.... GOD bless...pls answer all my question... |

You can certainly take vitamin C. No issues there. Your husband should be vaccinated against hepatitis B so there is no risk to him. He should get his serologies checked first to see if he needs the immunization. | |||||||||
