|Alpha FetoProtein Test
Jul 25, 2007
I'm 60 years old male, during my annual check-up I did Alpha Fetoprotein Blood test, and the result was 7.9UI/ml; since normal range is 0-5. This could mean liver, pancreas, testiculus or any other kind of cancer tumor? What's the best exame to double check about this things.Any advice?

First of all, this level is barely abnormal so I am not that concerned. If you have underlying cirrhosis from HCV or underlying hepatitis from HBV, you would want to discuss with your physician as to whether you should get an ultrasound of your liver.
latest update on valtrex. does this mean i have to wait how long to get an HIV test. Please help me with an answer Barbara.
