All hepatitis viruses that you mentioned - A,B, and C, all cause hepatitis (inflammation) of the liver. Hepatitis A always clears up. Hepatitis B usually resolves as well (about 95% of the time). Hepatitis C usually becomes chronic ( about 75% of the time). Anyone with chronic hepatitis B or C needs further evaluation. | |||||||||
