i applied this shipping agency and ask me if im a healthy carrier of hepa b. what does he really mean a healthy carrier? i also apply to other agency and i got this medical exam where i found out that i am a hepa b carrier. i did not pass the exam,but the attending ph. said that only if im not reactive in certain test(hepa panel)i could be fit in the i have a chance to go abroad?how many months do i be treated?i had 3months treatment already and my alt goes down to 37 from a 60+ i think. thanks and more power! We now use the term inactive carrier to mean someone who has surface antigen but no virus and normal liver function tests. These patients do not need treatment and only need follow-up to be certain that they maintain this status.
