| Hepa B Wife Lab test Resultz Feb 11, 2007 Hi doc, I would like to ask on the result of my wife's hepa b lab test result. AHCVA - 0.37, non reactive Igm AHAA - 0.363, non reactive AHBCA - 0.011, reactive AHBeA, 6.3, non-reactive HBeA, 1453, reactive AHBSA, 2, non reactive HBSA, 590.7, reactive Is my wife a chronic carrier, is she a infectious carrier, What treatment would be appropriate for her. From what I can decipher, I suspect your wife has Hepatitis B surface antigen Hepatitis B e antigen Hepatitis B core antibody If this is correct, then your wife is a chronic carrier of hepatitis B. The next step is to have a good physical examination and laboratories for hepatitis B DNA (viral load) and liver function tests (ALT and AST). Recommendations for treatment are usually made over time after serial monitoring. | |||||||||
