Pregnancy
Jan 28, 2007

Hello. I got treatment for my Hep C in 2003. My doctor said that they treatment worked and I am in the clear. I am now 2 months pregnant. What are the chances of passing Hep C to my baby. Can it still be passed even though I had the interferon and ribavirin (sp) treatment? Thank you for your time.

Response from Dr. McGovern

No the great news is that you are cured and you don't have to worry about your baby. Enjoy your pregnancy and best regards to you and your new family to be.
