| Advice on HBS AG Jan 28, 2007 My wife is hepatitis b+,since 1998 i married her in 2004,We have a baby girl,our doctor put her on Adfovir for 2 months,now he has asked her to stop the medication probably cause its not helping he was saying something about some injections,(enterol)what happens next.What shud i expect from god now. |

If he is suggesting injections, then he is probably speaking of interferon. Interferon has good activity against hepatitis B. He may be trying to reach "seroconversion" since this is accomplished better with interferon than other medications. Seroconversion is when the E antigen is lost and E antibody is gained. | |||||||||
