| has your opinion on life expectancy changed ? Apr 9, 2001 I read your repsonse to a question on life expectancy dated July 25, 2000. You said that a HIV positive person should liveas long as somone who is HIV negative and the virus could be treated the same as diabetes would be handled. Considering the latest developements, would your opinion still be the same. |

Generally, yes. The latest developments don't change the long term life expectancy, they just complicate matters somewhat. However, in the HIV world, we are certainly used to complications. Stay optimistic! Good luck! DTD | |||||||||
