Question about Test Results
Oct 31, 2006

Looking over a recent Serology Test Results is shows Hepatitis Bs Ab (Reactive, 18 IU/L) and that the reference range is (Immunity> 50 IU/L). What does this mean?

Response from Dr. McGovern

That means you have antibodies but not at a protective level. One dose of HBV vaccine would probably get you over the level needed. I would pursue this if you consider yourself at risk.
