| please answer doctor! Sep 22, 2006 doctor, i had a doubt for a time, please help me....a time ago i went to donate blood to a hospital in my country (argentina), and a time after that i received a letter that said i was HBsAG reactive, after that i went to test everything and my results were Hep B Ag Superficie Negative and Hep B anticore total Negative....did that mean that the positive was a false positive? my bilirrubin was a little high, Total 1,69 and direct 0,51 please clear to me....thanks and appreciate your work, hope my english was good enough |

Your English is fine. I wish I could communicate in another language! Yes I agree with your interpretation. This first test was a false positive. I wouldn't pursue any further testing. | |||||||||
