HEP C IN SALIVIA Aug 12, 2006 I AM A POLICE OFFICER AND HAD TO HELP THE PARAMEDICS RESTRAIN A PROSTITUTE WHO NEEDED MEDICAL ATTENTION. DURING THE INCIDENT A DROP OF SALIVIA HIT ME IN THE EYE AND SHE WAS ALSO SOAKED IN HER OWN URINE WHICH GOT ONTO MY PANTS. DO YOU RECOMMEND GETTING TESTED FOR HEP C? |

 If a drop of blood got into your eye, I would recommend testing although I would be telling you that the risk is extremely low. A drop of saliva would not prompt me to have you tested at all. | ||||||||
