| 6 week post tx pcr Aug 6, 2006 Stats for starters are 1b female, vl 1million, 2/3 48 weeks of treatment. During tx 12, 24,26 &48 pcrs negative. I tested 6.5 weeks post treatment still negative. Coming up on my 3 mos. post tx pcr. I was wondering if have any idea on my odds for SVR are with this information. |

I would say your chances are terrific. Although all the major clinical trials looked at six months post treatment for the measure of cure, most of the relapses I see after treatment is stopped occurs before six weeks. Of course the 3 month result will be more reassuring, and a negative six month result will need to be rejoiced. Go celebrate with a hot fudge sundae - probably something you did not want to look at while on interferon. | |||||||||
